Architects & Self Builds

Architects – Cost Effective New Build Eco Heating Systems!

Are you planning a new building project?

If you’re planning your own building project or for architects designing a new build for a client, then one of the things you must consider is now the building will be heated. An eco heating system should be a priority to be ecologically friendly and reduce reliance on fossil fuels.

Renewable heating, if included in the design and planning of your project means that the system will have minimal impact to the project’s internal and external aesthetics.

Architects benefit their clients from pre-planning

Including renewable energy in the planning stages of your new build heating system means that you can fully plan how heat will be distributed, hide elements of heating to create a clean interior aesthetic and plan where the vital heating controls will be housed and hidden from view. Renewable heating systems are very cost effective when installed in new build homes.

Air Source and Ground Source Heat Pumps are very efficient for underfloor heating systems. A Biomass Boiler installation replaces the need for mains gas to provide instant heat and hot water whenever you need it. Solar Thermal provides free hot water, and we can work with your roofers to identify where and when your thermal collectors will be fitted.

Government funded renewable heating installs

Self-build heating design with renewable heating benefits from incentives which you cannot access if you install traditional heating technologies. You will be able to apply for Government funding of £7,500 through the BUS / Boiler Upgrade Scheme to offset the cost of your renewable energy system.

If you would like technical advice on how to plan your self build heating system, please contact us and upload any plans that you are currently working to and we would be happy to discuss your requirements.
