We love to demonstrate how much renewable heating can save homeowners
Some of you may remember a blog from our customer, Steph Pearson where she was raving about the benefits of a Honeywell Evo Home system. She had an existing air source heat pump installed that really wasn’t working very well, so she had it switched off all winter and she used electricity to heat her home and water.
We were called in to carry out some heat pump servicing so that she could benefit from renewable heating. A couple of issues were identified and, after some remedial work the system is now working perfectly and, more importantly, efficiently.
The picture below shows Steph’s electricity costs before we carried out our work and recommissioned the ASHP system (a whopping £217 a month) and the figure below (£83 a month) is the electricity cost since the servicing.
Mrs Pearson is not on mains gas, so to get all of her heating and hot water an alternative heat system is the only option as it is more cost effective than oil or LPG central heating systems.
We can’t wait to see what savings Steph will have made after 12 months!
