Install a renewable heating system – save a bee! JRL Microgen are proud supporters of the British Beekeepers Association
We are so passionate about reducing CO2 emissions and understand the importance of maintaining a harmonious environment – which is why we have teamed up with the British Bee Keepers Association (www.bbka.org.uk/) to donate to them £100 for every renewable heating system we install.
Using renewable energy to heat homes and businesses will help reduce carbon emissions and slow down climate change – making for a friendlier environment for our bee population.
The BBKA Charity
The BBKA Charity is a charity dedicated to developing and promoting the craft of bee keeping in the UK. They ensure that the importance of bees in the environment is considered by Government policy makers and fund research into a wide range of factors which may affect the bee population in the UK.
Did you know that bees have 5 eyes and that a strong colony of bees could fly the equivalent distance from the Earth to the Moon every single day? It’s true – bees are totally amazing and play such an important role in the fine balance of nature so we couldn’t not help our fuzzy friends and support this great cause.
As well as supporting the nation BBKA campaign, we are also on the lookout for a Beekeeper in our region to help us set up our very own JRL Microgen beehive. If you can help, or know someone who can then please get in touch.
